Hearts, hearts, everywhere.
There are over one thousand references to the word "heart" in God's word. It was often thought as the center of the soul. It was where the emotions, thoughts and ideas sprang from: from the heart. In 2015, I lost my father after his eight year journey of Alzheimers. Three months later, I lost my five year old grandson to a rare brain cancer. Two months later, I lost my dog, a best friend walked away after we were best buds for 20 years. Then 6 months later, I lost another dog. 2017, I lost my father in law after his 2 year journey with a rare cancer. So, my heart was in pieces. That is when astoundingly, "hearts" began to show up. I would get one a day, but often, I would see 6-7 a day. They were everywhere: in plants, food, bruises....I was astounded. Then it hit me. Hearts are like God, they are always there, but I may not see them or receive them, until I really need them. God is always there. I may not see him, sense him, or feel him, until I really need Him, but he is always there. Thank you for joining me on this exploration of hearts in the bible. My goal is that your heart, will also be blessed by the pictures, stories, and God-kisses that I find along the way. Please feel free to comment and also, please, please, please, send me the hearts that you find.
